Oddly Allowed is a puzzle game operated by Tom Sanders. Contact support@oddlyallowed.co.uk for help.
Playing
The core game is free. Dot judges purchases using spelling rules and a curated dictionary. Some unfamiliar or ambiguous answers need clarification. Scores are for personal enjoyment.
Accounts
Accounts are optional and managed by adults. Keep your password and email codes private. You can delete your account within the app. Cloud saves require an internet connection; read the confirmation carefully before replacing a device's game.
Race Dot
Private races are free in this version and require an internet connection. An adult-managed account hosts; friends can join by code. Share room codes only with people you know. Preset player names and private guesses keep the game focused on puzzles.
Each race has five timed rounds. The first correct rule guess committed by the server wins the round. Connection speed can affect timing. Incorrect rule guesses reduce the points available for a win; plausible alternative rules do not. Skipping earns no points and keeps the rule secret. Disconnected players can rejoin using the same device until the room expires. Scores have no cash value.
Optional packs
The iPhone app offers optional packs through Apple's in-app purchase system. The Apple purchase sheet shows the price and confirms payment. Packs are non-consumable, one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Restore purchases using the same Apple Account. Apple handles billing and refund requests. Approved refunds may remove access to the refunded pack. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
App licence and privacy
The iOS app is licensed under Apple's standard end-user licence agreement. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information.
Support
If a purchased pack does not unlock, try Restore purchases in Packs, then contact us. Do not include passwords or payment-card details in a support request.
